It's a wild and dangerous world out there. Your wellbeing is only as safe as you make it. That's where I step in.

Just when you thought the Guv'nuh from the great state of Denver was safe from The Emperor's reign....

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/news/13694630/detail.html

While we may not fully understand The Emperor or his attempt to overthrow our national government on Monday, allow me to take this opportunity to point out the few highlights of his actions:

1)  He had class.  The Emperor doesn't arrive in a t-shirt and shorts; he wears a tux.

2)  In addition to his loaded gun and hunting knives, he carried a set of cupped ear phones to protect his ears from the gunshots that were bound to ensue.

3)  The Emperor understood the value of investment in R & D and engineering.

An excerpt fro ... Read More »

This young woman is not only pretty; she's rather serious about preventing identity theft.

Over 9 million people fell victim to identity theft in 2006.  When is this trend going to stop, y'all?  Buck the trend!  If you're a victim of identi ... Read More »

Hey gang,

Spring and Summer are upon us and that means that you're probably getting ready to hit the road for a well-deserved vacation.  Stay safe out there.  Drive defensively and ideally take a car that doesn't look EXACTLY like a target.

Just shoot me what don

What is this car saying to you?  That's right, "shoot me!"    If this car passed me on the interstate I wouldn't be able to control myself.  How could you not grab the nearest firearm and open up on this Buick??  Buckle up kids and drive a car that's statiscally ... Read More »

Hey you, yes, you!  You know you're not the only one that knows how to ride a motorcycle; especially when it's sitting parked unattended and idling.  Sure you might save a few seconds by not having to kickstart your favorite hog when it's time to head back home but think about this:  A recent poll* suggests that the easiest way to get your motorcycle stolen is to park it with the keys in the ignition and a fine honey sitting in the sidecar.  An experienced motorcycle thief can swipe your idling Harley in a span of mere seconds!   The next time you run out to Harris Teeter to pickup a few sundries do the smart thing - turn off your ... My Four Cents: January Edition
Got a great question from “Conflicted”, Tyler TX. I am in constant conflict with a co-worker. We are on the same level “in title”, but I’m much better looking. While she has a great personality, the only glaring defect I can see as a flaw would be a mole on her face that is shaped [...]

The Value of Getting Your Job On
I'd much rather my co workers know that I was "Getting my staple on" rather than just "Collating some stuff".

Implementing MegaWordz™
Delivering a "Presentation" has the potential to change hearts and minds. While giving a "Proposal" can bring in millions of dollars in billings. Consider the power then, when you deliver a Presen-Posal™ to a prospective client!

Dealing With Intellectual Superiors
Every room has it–The smartest person in it. That person who interjects key insights into conversations, the one who knows what we need to do moving forward, or that guy who can explain what numbers are. If you're like me then you want to be that person–in every room you enter, whether it be a keynote speech at a regional conference, or the bathroom of Clux Chicken and Pancakes. With the Three Magic Words to Knock Smart People Down a Peg™ Strategy you can make sure that that's usually the case.

Winning with “The Cloud”
Aside from the invention of computers–the rules for success in business haven’t changed in 200 years. Business is still about fostering relationships with customers, solving those customers’ problems about 65 percent of the time, and of course, contiuously striving to make yourself look much better than your coworkers so you can rise to the top [...]

RBi Lyric Leak?
I heard this song last night & now I'm gravely concerned that one or more RBi songwriters are moonlighting as overly clever lyricists for mainstream country douches. Fess up and share the royalities and we'll go easy on ya. Maybe they also want a really catchy song about pubery & deodorant?   "Online"

Your best? Your worst?
What would be the best, or worst possible band name? And how would it rank compared to Reluctant Beating Incorporated?

Birth Control, anyone?
Somewhere, somehow, I remember recording an EP called the Birth Control EP. This was a collection of songs that somehow weren't good enough to go on the Family Planning album. Is reluctantbeating.com truly a complete resource for RBi songs with this omission? Well yeah, pretty much. Here are some songs I remember from this classic: The Catfish That's Pretty Funny Moonbow there were others i swear.
